Privacy Policy
Effective August 18, 2026
StageFeet is a platform for musicians, venues, studios, podcasts, event hosts, listeners, and related live-music tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information StageFeet collects, why it is used, how connected third-party accounts are handled, and the choices available to you.
1. Information you provide to StageFeet
We may collect information you submit when creating or using an account, including your name, email address, profile information, roles, instruments, genres, biography, contact details, social links, event and organization information, messages, uploaded media, and other information you choose to provide.
If StageFeet requires identity verification, an identity document may be submitted for administrator review. StageFeet is designed to keep identity-verification files private and to delete approved identity files after review, subject to operational, security, fraud-prevention, or legal requirements.
2. Account, device, and service information
StageFeet may process technical and service information needed to operate and secure the platform, such as session identifiers, timestamps, request identifiers, feature usage, error information, approximate location or postal-code information you provide for discovery features, and records of account, event, organization, or tool activity.
3. Connected accounts and third-party services
You may choose to connect third-party services to StageFeet, including Google services, YouTube, Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other services that StageFeet may support. Connecting an account is optional. StageFeet requests authorization through the provider's own authorization process and receives only the permissions you approve.
Depending on the feature you choose, authorized information may include basic account identity, email functionality, calendar information, YouTube information, business-profile information, social-page information, posts, comments, messages, or publishing capabilities. StageFeet uses connected-account information only to provide the features you request, such as scheduling, publishing, communication, account management, social engagement, or business-profile tools.
4. Google user data
When you connect a Google Account, StageFeet accesses, uses, stores, or shares Google user data only as necessary to provide the user-facing features you authorize. StageFeet's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
StageFeet does not sell Google user data, use Google user data for advertising, or use Google user data to build advertising profiles. Human access to Google user data is limited to situations where you have given affirmative permission for a specific support purpose, where access is necessary for security or abuse investigation, where required by law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations consistent with applicable policies.
StageFeet requests the narrowest Google OAuth permissions reasonably required for an enabled feature. Different StageFeet tools may request additional permissions only when you activate or use functionality that needs them.
5. How we use information
We use information to operate StageFeet; authenticate accounts; provide discovery, profile, event, messaging, scheduling, publishing, social, and business tools; synchronize information you direct us to synchronize; send service or account communications; prevent abuse and fraud; troubleshoot errors; improve reliability; and comply with legal obligations.
6. How information is shared
StageFeet may share information with service providers that are necessary to operate the platform, such as hosting, database, email-delivery, authentication, storage, payment, analytics, or connected-platform providers. Those providers receive information only as needed for their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the platform, or in connection with a business reorganization where legally permitted.
Information you intentionally make public through StageFeet—such as public musician, venue, studio, podcast, or event information—may be visible to other users or visitors according to the privacy settings and functionality of the service.
7. Authentication tokens and security
Connected-account access and refresh tokens are treated as sensitive credentials. StageFeet is designed to keep provider credentials server-side, associate them with the correct StageFeet account, and restrict their use to authorized platform functions. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide StageFeet, maintain account history and security, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain backups. Retention periods may vary by information type and feature. Data may persist temporarily in backups after deletion from active systems.
9. Your choices and controls
You can control profile information and connected services through StageFeet. In the Profile area, the Connections section lets you disconnect supported third-party accounts. Disconnecting a provider disables that connection for StageFeet tools. The Privacy & Data section allows you to export a copy of your StageFeet account data or request account deletion.
You can also revoke Google's access to StageFeet through your Google Account permissions. Revocation may stop connected StageFeet features from working until you reconnect the service.
10. Children's privacy
StageFeet is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information was collected, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as StageFeet changes. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the platform or by email when appropriate.
12. Contact
Questions or requests about this Privacy Policy or your data can be sent to admin@stagefeet.com.
StageFeet will not connect to a third-party account without your action and authorization. You can disconnect supported accounts from StageFeet at any time.
